High Quality Pig Feed

This product is made from pure porcine by-products and is characterised by an excellent fatty acid composition that is ideal for use in pig feed. Factors such as iodine value and fatty acid content ensure a good fat quality in finisher pigs.

Daka SARVAL manufactures two types of porcine fat:

Porcine Fat with or without emulsifier. An emulsifier has been added to porcine fat which is intended for use in liquid feeding systems in order to increase its solubility in water and to reduce problems with fat deposits in feeding pipes. Daka therefore recommends that customers who have liquid feeding systems should use this type of fat.

Ingredient for Pig Feed

SF92/15 Porcine Fat

Content Typical
values %
Water 0,5
Impurities 0,15
Unsaponifiable residue 2,0
FFA 15
  • Sustainable feed ingredients
  • Stabilized with antioxidants
  • Acts as a binder and dust absorber
  • Adds fed energy
  • Ensures a firm lard quality with low iodine levels in the slaughter pigs
  • High proportion of saturated fatty acids
SF92 / 15 Lard is based on category 3 * pig raw materials from slaughterhouses and is processed at an ISO 9001 certified factory. The product is stabilized with antioxidant to avoid rancidity and thus maintain quality. SF92 / 15 Lard can be used as a fat source for pig feed. It is suitable for use in dry food, where it can act as a binder and dust suppressor. By using SF92 / 15 Pig fat in the pig feed, a fixed fat quality with low iodine value is ensured in the slaughter pigs. This is because the product has a high proportion of saturated fatty acids.

SF92 / 15-E Lard is based on category 3 * pig raw materials from slaughterhouses, and is processed at an ISO 9001 certified factory. The product is stabilized with antioxidant to avoid rancidity and thus maintain quality. SF92 / 15-E Lard is added to an emulsifier so that the fat is easily mixed into wet feed. Instructions for mixing fat are available. SF92 / 15-E Lard can be used as a fat and energy source for pig feed.
